**Exciting Opportunity for a Registered Nurse – Sierra Med/Tele** **Job Description:** - **Role:** Registered Nurse - Sierra Med/Tele - **Location:** 1155 Mill St, Reno, NV 89502 - **Shift:** 3x12, Nights - **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36 - **Call Requirements:** None **Qualifications:** - NV RN license required prior to start - Required Certifications: - BLS - ACLS - Must pass a telemetry competency exam to include identifying and measuring telemetry rhythm strips - Experience Required: - 2+ years of Med Surg/Tele experience - Prior travel experience of one 13-week assignment required **Additional Comments:** - Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level - Required to pick up one additional shift during the scheduled period - Renown has the right to call off, without penalty, 48 hours for low census per 13-week contract (may be full or partial shifts) - Schedule varies based on department needs, including weekends, holidays, and some call shifts **Position Purpose:** - Provide optimal patient care utilizing knowledge and skills within the nursing process - Accountable for individualized patient outcomes over an entire episode of care - Deliver comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including families/caregivers **Nature and Scope:** - Diagnose and treat human responses to health problems - Provide optimal patient/resident care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation - Meet standards of quality as measured by the unit/department age-specific competency standards - Ongoing growth and learning with a scientific knowledge base - Consider family or those significant to the family as part of the care assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation - Coordinate care between other professionals as needed - Engage in intense mental effort to provide optimal safe patient care and interact with internal and external contacts **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
