# Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse – AlabamaStart Date: October 12, 2026Location: Dothan, AlabamaCompensation: Details provided to qualified applicantsSchedule: 3x12 or 4x12 Night Shifts (your choice) with block scheduling. Weekend coverage required. 28 hours of orientation provided.Highlights:

• Medical-Surgical unit with telemetry capabilities serving adult and geriatric patient populations
• 35-bed unit with daily census of approximately 35 patients and nurse-to-patient ratios up to 1:6-7
• Must be proficient in critical drips including cardizem, tridil, and amiodarone
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more

Requirements:

• Active Alabama RN license or valid Compact license required at time of submission
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
• Proficiency in IV drip management (cardizem, tridil, amiodarone) required
• Experience with telemetry monitoring, accessing/managing ports, and chemotherapy administration/monitoring preferred
• Permanent address must be at least 90 miles from the facility location
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered); flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
• Pre-start modules required (non-billable)
