Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week. Patient ratio typically 1:5-6. Weekend requirement of 12-16 shifts per contract. Contract lengths of 13-20 weeks accepted.
HighlightsTypical diagnoses include dementia, diabetes, COVID-19, pneumonia, COPD, sepsis, encephalopathy, GI bleed, anemia, hip fracture, and other standard medical/surgical conditions. Unit census averages 41 patients with multi-level care capabilities.

Additional InformationContract staff will be assigned to Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team and may be required to report during catastrophic events, mass casualties, or disasters. Floating to other units within the facility is required based on staffing needs. Pre-start online modules (approximately 8-10 hours) must be completed before orientation. All compliance testing must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing.
