GHG Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Rock Island, Illinois.
Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2611.84
Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg
Job Details:
• 12-hour shifts with variable scheduling
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Up to 48 hours weekly guarantee
• Contracts available in 8, 10, or 13 week lengths
• May be required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day
• May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Historical patient ratio of 1:7 on unit
• EMR system: EPIC
• 2 years of previous experience required
• At least 1 travel contract completed preferred
• Illinois and Iowa state licenses required
• Must have taxable address outside of 50 miles from facility
• Required equipment and clinical skills: chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, and central lines
• Required medication experience: Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, and Argatroban with some titration
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
• Driver's license required
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date required
• 1 supervisory reference required at time of submission
• Work history/resume required

This healthcare system operates multiple campuses across the region, offering a range of trauma center designations from level 1 to level 4 depending on location. The organization provides comprehensive medical and surgical care, utilizing EPIC as its electronic medical records system. The facility is actively expanding its travel nursing team to improve patient-to-nurse ratios and enhance the quality of care delivered to its patient population.
