Schedule: 12-hour shifts; Every other weekend required (6 weekend shifts per contract); Patient ratio 1:5-6

- Comprehensive patient care including pain management, physical therapy, and mobility support
- EPIC charting system; 1 year of EPIC experience required
- Level I Adult Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center environment
- 12-hour orientation provided; modules reimbursable up to 16 hours
Requirements:
- Active South Carolina or multistate RN license (must be active at time of submission)
- Minimum 1 year of orthopedic nursing experience required
- Minimum 1 year of recent EPIC EMR experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Dysrhythmia certification preferred
- Experience with patient ratios of 5-6 patients
- Previous charge experience preferred
- First-time travelers accepted

Unit Details:
- 26-bed orthopedic spine unit specializing in post-operative spinal surgery care
- Patient diagnoses include orthopedic spine, medical-surgical, telemetry, cardiac, low-risk ACS, TIAs, diabetes, hypertension, COPD, chest pain, DVT, and PE
- Special procedures: bedside lumbar puncture, post-catheterization care (radial/femoral), post-surgical care, post-renal biopsy, CT angiography, and heparin drips
- Equipment: telemetry monitoring, bedside pulse oximetry, dinamaps, glucometers
- Floating may be required to other units based on census needs (only to units where competencies are documented)

- All time-off requests must be submitted with application and are subject to approval
- Pre-assignment testing and modules required within 48 hours of contract signing
