Job Opportunity – Long-Term Acute Care Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN – South Carolina

Start Date: October 2026

Location: Columbia, South Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 36 or 48 hours per week available. 4:1 patient ratio. Some weekend shifts required. Call rotation shared among 6-8 staff members after 5pm and on weekends.

• LTAC Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit with 15-bed census specializing in adult and geriatric populations
• Night shift position with manageable 4:1 patient ratios across all shifts
• 13 to 26-week contract options available with potential for extension
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, radiology, and social services
• Electronic medical records experience required (1 year minimum)
• Paid pre-assignment modules and orientation (up to 16 billable hours)

Requirements:

• Active RN license in South Carolina or compact state license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience required
• Neurological patient care experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• LTAC experience strongly preferred
• 1+ year of recent experience in similar unit setting
• Competencies in complex wound care, tracheostomy care/management, dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• 1 year minimum experience with EPIC EMR system required
• Must reside 50+ miles from contracted facility to qualify for full compensation
• Flu vaccination required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccination not required
