Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of two years of recent relevant experience required. License: Active RN license in hand at the time of submission; must be either in-state or compact. Certifications: BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association required. Must-Have: Previous travel experience required. Proficient in Epic charting system. Comfortable with a patient care ratio of 1:7. Ability to perform required clinical skills and care for specified patient populations. Description: This position involves providing care in a post-operative setting for elective surgeries and trauma patients. The focus is on patients recovering from orthopedic, bariatric, and colorectal surgeries. There is a capacity to monitor telemetry patients when necessary. Nurses will be part of a team providing care to a diverse population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The role includes managing complex medical conditions and ensuring patient safety at all times. The nurse is expected to demonstrate strong communication skills and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams. Flexibility with scheduling, including weekends and holidays, is required.
