Job Title: Medical Surgical Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent experience in this specialty License: Active RN license or compact RN license in compliance with NLC guidelines Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Experience in Level I or Level II trauma - Large hospital experience - Experience in telemetry and interpretation of dysrhythmias Description: This position is for a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse. The shift is 4x12 days, with working hours from 07:00 to 19:00. The nurse will work with a patient ratio of 1:7. Team nursing will be utilized, and higher ratios may apply with additional support from other staff. On-call duties will be as needed, and weekend work is required as necessary. Candidates must have completed at least one prior travel assignment. Experience with EPIC charting is preferred. The nursing care will be directed towards adult and geriatric populations. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, social services, and pharmacy. The daily patient census is approximately 46, with 48 beds available for patient care. RTO must be included at the time of submission and will not be honored after an offer is made. Candidates should have documentation for any expiring certifications during the assignment. This facility maintains strict compliance with submission and credentialing requirements. A driver's license is required for submission.
