Job Summary Medical Surgical Telemetry Nurse Nights Location not specified. This position involves providing comprehensive patient care within a medical surgical and telemetry unit. The role requires flexibility to float to similar units and overflow areas, ensuring continuous support to the healthcare team for an eight-week assignment beginning January 11, 2027. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical proficiency and adaptability to meet patient needs during this period.
Job Details
Shift: Night shift, 12 hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse license, minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical Telemetry experience, ability to pass telemetry competency exam, current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, ACLS certification required, knowledge of critical paths, documented professional developmental activities, charge nurse experience preferred.
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, starting 01/11/2027 through 03/06/2027
Additional Information: Flu vaccination required during compliance. Pass/fail ECG/telemetry test and medication test during onboarding with only one attempt permitted. Test administered via Zoom prior to assignment within 48 hours of offer. RNs must prepare using the provided study guide. Candidates must be willing to float to similar units and overflow areas. All requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of submission. Previous COVID-19 vaccination documentation may be required in accordance with facility policies.
