Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for an 8-week assignment starting on January 11. This role requires a commitment to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays. RNs must be prepared to float to like units and overflow areas as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a Medical-Surgical Telemetry environment.
• Participate in patient assessments, planning, and implementation of nursing care.
• Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatments and interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Adhere to established protocols for compliance, including FLU vaccination.

Qualifications

• Current valid license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Med Surg Telemetry nursing.
• Ability to pass Telemetry Competency Exam.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS certification.
• Documentation of continuing professional development activities.
• Charge Nurse experience is preferred.

Testing Requirements

Candidates will be required to complete a Pass/Fail ECG/Telemetry test and a Medications test during the onboarding process. Testing must be completed within 48 hours of receiving an offer, and a minimum passing score of 85% is required. No remediation or re-sit opportunities will be provided; preparation is strongly advised.

Time Off Requests

All requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application, with no more than three days of RTO permitted. Holiday RTO will not be approved.
