Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse – North Carolina

Start Date: October 5, 2026
Location: Wilmington, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 1845-0715; 36 or 48-hour contracts available; 1:6 patient ratio; Every other weekend required

• Float requirement to main campus location may apply; 24-hour orientation provided
• Interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, physical therapy, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and social services
• Epic charting system with Pyxis medication management

Requirements:

• Active North Carolina or Compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical and Telemetry experience required
• BLS and NIHSS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Must pass EKG competency testing prior to start date
• Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and management, remote telemetry monitoring, and use of rapid response/code teams
• Proficiency in IV therapy, central line management, blood product administration, wound care, and feeding tube management
• Experience with respiratory support including BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, and non-invasive airway management
• Must be available to work during catastrophic events and be assigned to storm/hurricane teams as needed
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Ability to work 2 of 3 major holidays
