Start Date: ASAP Department: Nursing Float Pool Shift: Nights Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Call: None Charting: Epic Floating: Required based on hospital needs
Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Med Surg/Telemetry RN for a night-shift float pool assignment. The nurse must be adaptable, clinically independent, and comfortable floating among multiple inpatient units with varying patient populations and staffing needs.
Required Experience
Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg/Telemetry RN experience
Minimum 1 year of previous travel nursing experience
Must be able to independently interpret telemetry rhythm strips
Must be comfortable documenting rhythm interpretations in Epic
Strong teamwork, reliability, communication, and time-management skills required
Required Credentials
Active RN license
BLS
ACLS
Floating Requirements
Floating is required as needed
Unit assignment, bed count, patient population, and ratios will vary by placement
Travelers must accept assignments within their documented competency and scope
Scheduling
Night shift
36 guaranteed hours per week
No call requirement
Dress Code
Professional scrubs in any color
No offensive wording or graphics
Flip-flops, shorts, and T-shirts are not permitted

Strong telemetry and Med Surg foundation
