Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

This role requires a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide patient care in various telemetry units and overflow areas. The position includes responsibilities during night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Float to multiple medical-surgical telemetry floors as required.
  • Participate in Dysrhythmia and Medication competency assessments administered virtually, with a passing score required for onboarding.
  • Adhere to established protocols and provide high-quality nursing care.
  • Work collaboratively with other nursing staff and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience.
  • Ability to successfully pass Telemetry Competency Exam.
  • Current Advanced Healthcare Provider (AHABLS) Certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Documented professional development activities.
  • Charge nurse experience preferred.

Orientation and Interview Process

Orientation is conducted biweekly, and candidates will be interviewed and offered a position by the Nursing Manager. Please provide available dates and times for an interview upon submission.

Additional Information

  • Must comply with floating requirements to similar units and overflow areas.
  • Travelers with prior experience at this organization in the past six months are not eligible for consideration.
