Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse:
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and patient status, responding promptly to changes in condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies
Requirements of the Travel Nurse:
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years' recent MedSurg and/or Telemetry experience
