Description:
The position is for a registered nurse in a telemetry/surgical floor.
This unit has a total of 36 beds.
Local candidates are allowed to apply.
The required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
Previous charge experience is preferred.
The patient-to-nurse ratio is 6:1.
Experience with Epic charting is required.
Candidates must have skills in accessing and managing ports and administering blood products.
Experience with various patient care procedures is necessary.
Candidates should be capable of managing complex patient needs.
Familiarity with telemetry and pre/post hemodialysis management is a plus.
Candidates must have experience in wound care and oncology.
Floating to other units may be requested based on facility needs.
All candidates must have specialty experience within the last year.
Vaccinations may be required as per health regulations.
Candidates must comply with all healthcare protocols.
Additional certifications may be necessary based on unit requirements.
Duties will involve direct patient care and collaboration with the healthcare team.
Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care.
