Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Float Pool team. This position requires flexibility to float to various medical-surgical telemetry floors as needed, including weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care while floating to different units as required.
• Demonstrate proficiency in telemetry, including passing a telemetry competency exam.
• Participate in on-call duties as needed, ensuring coverage for various clinical situations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training activities.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical Telemetry.
• Current Registered Nurse license is required.
• Current certification in ACLS (American Heart Association) is required.
• HCP BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
• Experience as a Charge Nurse is preferred.
• Willingness to undergo and pass ECG and medication testing during onboarding, with only one attempt allowed for test completion.

Additional Information

• Orientation sessions are held biweekly.
• Interviews will be conducted by the Nurse Manager, and availability for interviews should be communicated during the application process.
• All requests for time off (RTO) must be presented at the time of submission.
• Candidates who have worked in this capacity within the last six months must be separated from previous roles to be eligible for consideration.
