Join an on-site nursing team in Cambridge, Massachusetts, as a Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse. This four-week travel nursing assignment offers the opportunity to support multiple units within a collaborative nursing float pool while caring for a diverse medical-surgical patient population. Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470-$2,600
• Start Date: February 1, 2027
• Assignment Length: 4 weeks, ending February 27, 2027
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating day and night shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly, excluding on-call time
• Healthcare Setting: On-site nursing float pool

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Massachusetts
• At least 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical Telemetry nursing experience
• Strong cardiac telemetry assessment and monitoring experience
• Experience working across multiple inpatient units or in a nursing float pool environment
• Epic electronic medical record experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts
• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, teamwork, and communication skills

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients across multiple inpatient units
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize changes in patient condition, and promptly escalate concerns
• Complete patient assessments, medication administration, care planning, and accurate clinical documentation in Epic
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Adapt quickly to varying unit workflows, patient acuity levels, and staffing needs
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Promote patient safety, evidence-based nursing practice, and high-quality clinical outcomes
