Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470–$2,600

• Contract Duration: 8 weeks, ending February 27, 2027
• Schedule: Approximately 36 hours per week; 12-hour rotating shifts, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly
• Weekend and Holiday Rotation: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Scheduling: Self-scheduling with coordinated coverage needs; up to 3 days of requested time off
• Patient Ratios: Medical-surgical: 5:1 on day/evening shifts and 6:1 overnight; telemetry: 4:1 on day/evening shifts and 5:1 overnight

Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Massachusetts
• At least 2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience
• Recent telemetry nursing experience and comfort caring for patients with cardiac monitoring needs
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts, including every other weekend and holiday rotations
• Strong patient assessment, prioritization, communication, and clinical judgment skills

Travel RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in medical-surgical and telemetry settings
• Perform patient assessments, monitor clinical conditions, administer medications, and implement individualized plans of care
• Monitor telemetry data, recognize changes in patient status, and promptly communicate clinical concerns
• Support safe patient transitions through education, care coordination, clinical documentation, and discharge planning
• Float between medical-surgical and telemetry assignments as needed within the designated acute-care environment
• Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote quality patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and follow established patient safety, infection-control, and professional standards
