• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts; weekends and holidays expected
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,470 - $2,600
• Float Expectations: Assigned to Med/Surg Tele floors and overflow areas as needed

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry or telemetry nursing experience
• Ability to pass a Telemetry Competency Exam
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Current AHA ACLS certification
• Ability to successfully complete ECG/telemetry and medication testing during onboarding
• Strong understanding of critical paths and telemetry nursing best practices
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Documented professional development activities preferred
• Willingness to float to like units and overflow areas

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult Med/Surg Tele patients in a float pool environment
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with nursing standards
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
• Adapt quickly to different Med/Surg Tele floors and patient care needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety throughout every shift
• Support unit flow by assisting in overflow areas when needed
• Deliver compassionate care while working nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
