Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nursing Contract in Plymouth, MA

Join a dedicated inpatient nursing team as a Med/Surg Telemetry Travel Nurse in Plymouth, Massachusetts. This on-site travel nursing assignment offers the opportunity to provide high-quality care to medically complex adult patients while working in a collaborative float pool environment. Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470–$2,600
• Location: Plymouth, Massachusetts
• Assignment Type: Registered Nurse travel contract
• Start Date: January 11, 2027
• Duration: 8 weeks, ending March 6, 2027
• Schedule: 36 hours per week; 12-hour night shifts
• Shift Expectations: Weekends and holidays are expected
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly, excluding on-call hours
• Unit: Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool
• Floating: Float to like units and overflow areas as needed

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• At least 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Current American Heart Association ACLS certification
• Ability to successfully complete a telemetry competency examination
• Successful completion of required ECG/telemetry and medication assessments during onboarding, with a minimum passing score of 85%
• Documented professional development activities
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Current flu vaccination required during compliance

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize dysrhythmias, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely and evaluate patient responses to treatment
• Complete patient assessments, care planning, clinical documentation, and patient education
• Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
• Provide safe, effective care while floating to comparable units and overflow areas
• Support a professional practice environment through communication, teamwork, and ongoing clinical development
