Travel Nurse Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Massachusetts
• At least 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical Telemetry nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Recent experience using Epic electronic medical records (EMR)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Comfort working in a float pool and adapting to varied inpatient assignments
• Ability to commit to the full travel nursing assignment and night-shift schedule

Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to Medical-Surgical Telemetry patients across assigned inpatient units
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, patient conditions, and responses to treatment
• Administer medications and therapies in accordance with established standards of care
• Complete focused and comprehensive patient assessments, care plans, and clinical documentation in Epic
• Recognize changes in patient status and promptly communicate concerns to the appropriate care team
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate individualized patient care
• Support safe transitions of care through patient education, discharge planning, and accurate handoffs
• Demonstrate flexibility and professionalism while floating to different inpatient areas as needed
