Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,775 per week in Kalamazoo, MI

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Experience with patient ratios of 1:5-6, with occasional ratios up to 1:7. Must be comfortable with acquiring certification in Cerner charting system. Description: This position involves working in a 46-bed surgical unit. The main patient population includes trauma surgery, post-bariatric surgery, post-abdominal surgery, post-amputation surgery, and urological issues. The unit also accommodates overflow for medically complex and cardiac patients. Nurses will be expected to manage a range of patient care responsibilities, including telemetry monitoring and administering various therapies. The role will require weekend coverage every other weekend and holiday coverage every other holiday. Candidates will be required to participate in ongoing training and comply with professional standards. Travelers must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
