Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN)

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurses to provide high-quality care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This position offers a unique opportunity for self-scheduling while maintaining flexibility in your work-life balance.

Shift Details

  • 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
  • Every other weekend and holiday commitment required
  • Only one holiday request will be accepted for time off

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care in either medical-surgical or telemetry units
  • Ensure adherence to patient ratios:
    • Medical-surgical: 5:1 (7:00 AM - 11:00 PM), 6:1 (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
    • Telemetry: 4:1 (7:00 AM - 11:00 PM), 5:1 (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
  • Participate in a self-scheduling system with opportunities for flexibility based on personal preferences

Qualifications

  • Current RN license
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical surgical nursing required
  • Experience in telemetry nursing is a plus
