Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess the skills and experience necessary to thrive in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Job Details

  • Shift: 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
  • Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday; only one holiday request off will be accepted.

Unit Information

RNs may float between medical-surgical and telemetry units. The following staffing ratios will apply:

  • Medical-Surgical Ratio: 5:1 (7:00 AM - 11:00 PM), 6:1 (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
  • Telemetry Ratio: 4:1 (7:00 AM - 11:00 PM), 5:1 (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical care to patients in accordance with established standards and practices.
  • Monitor and assess patient needs, implementing appropriate interventions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Participate in self-scheduling, with considerations made for personal preferences.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Current nursing license and certification in the state of practice.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
