Job Summary Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) nurse in Iowa is responsible for providing comprehensive patient care across a variety of medical-surgical units. The role involves caring for diverse patient types, utilizing telemetry skills, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure quality outcomes.
Job Details
Certifications, Education, and Experience: Active Iowa or multistate (compact) nursing license; 4 years of recent experience in medical-surgical or medical-surgical telemetry nursing; BLS certification required.
Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 48 hours per week.
Responsibilities: Caring for all patient types in a med surg setting, proficiency in telemetry and cardiac care, experience with heparin, and familiarity with electronic medical records (EPIC) preferred.
Additional Information: Must have recent experience with charge, precepting, or leadership roles; capable of floating across multiple campuses; physical and mental readiness for a fast-paced environment.
