Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,825 per week in Tucson, AZ

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Float Duration: 24 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1.5 years in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry required Patient ratio experience of 1:6 is required License: Valid RN license required (AZ/Compact) Certifications: BLS and ACLS are required and must not expire within 30 days of start De-escalation certification preferred Must-Have: Must have experience with a patient ratio of 1:6 Experience with EPIC charting system required Description: This position requires an auto offer with minimal requested time off. ASAP start with weekly orientation. Candidates will be accepted for shorter contracts. The role requires floating to the sister facility. Candidates must be agreeable to floating to other locations as needed. The unit cares for patients with various diagnoses such as infectious diseases, hospice/palliative care, oncology, cardiac, post-surgical, bariatric, urology, neurology, and orthopedics. Required skills include managing ports, blood product administration, telemetry monitoring, and wound care. AvaSure tele-sitting cameras are utilized in the unit. Must have ratings of 3-4 in all required skills. The position requires 12 weekend shifts per contract, with coverage every other weekend. Blocked scheduling will not be accommodated. Candidates with one DUI on record may be considered as long as the incident occurred one year or more ago. Travelers with two or more DUIs or incidents within the last year will not be considered. Previous charge experience is preferred. Experience in a telemetry setting is essential. Successful candidates will have strong interdisciplinary support and a collaborative working environment.
