Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,827 per week in Cambridge, MA

Job Title: Telemetry Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry Duration: Contract Shift: 12-hour Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM Experience: 1-2+ years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience License: Active or conditional Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts Certifications: Current AHA BLS required; AHA ACLS preferred Must-Have: Telemetry experience; acute care experience; charge capability highly preferred; floating required Description: This position requires telemetry experience. Candidates must have experience in acute care settings. Block scheduling is not available. Charge capability is highly preferred for this role. Floating to other areas is required. Scrub color is flexible. Candidates must be able to work every other major holiday. Common patient diagnoses include alcohol abuse, COPD, diabetes, CHF, sepsis, and pneumonia. Experience with administering antibiotics, anticoagulants, blood, Lasix, and amiodarone is required. Familiarity with specialty equipment such as Pyxis, Zebra scanners, bladder scanners, dopplers, and general medical equipment is essential.
