Job Summary: Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) Registered Nurse position located in an acute care healthcare facility. The role involves providing specialized nursing care on a 12-hour night shift, with expectations to float to all Medical Surgical and Telemetry floors as needed. This position requires passing clinical tests and adherence to hospital protocols, supporting patient recovery and safety.
Job Details:
Schedule: 12H Night shift, weekends and holidays expected, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Licensed Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of Medical Surgical Telemetry experience and able to pass Telemetry Competency Exam. Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. ACLS (American Heart Association) Certification required. Documented Professional Developmental activities. Knowledge of Critical Paths. Charge Nurse experience preferred.
Additional Information: BILH coversheet required at time of submission. Test for ECG/Telemetry and medications administered via Zoom before assignment, with a passing score of 85%. RN candidates must test within 48 hours of offer; no re-sits available. Orientation occurs biweekly.
