Hr: $33.33
Stipend (tax free): $1,267.00
Gross weekly: $3,000.20
Total gross 13 weeks: $39,260.00

Medical/Surgical Telemetry (Unit 5E) NO LOCAL CANDIDATES (must reside outside 50-mile radius)
MUST pass EKG Exam at Orientation (Study Guide Available in Simplify Library) Minimum one-year recent acute care experience required
Minimum one year travel experience required
MS/Tele experience required; CAPD preferred EPIC experience preferred Certifications Required: BLS
Schedule: 12-Hr Days; every other weekend/major holiday required
(May be able to accommodate weekend only blocked schedule)
Unit: 30-bed (can flex to 37 beds) mixed surgical unit Patient Population: general surgery, trauma, minor ortho cases; post-op and post-trauma patients; Average LOS: ~4 days; dayshift can expect 1 2 patient turnover per nurse per day Equipment/Skills: Alaris pumps, Hercules beds, BiPAP, CPAP, trachs, chest tubes, tube feeds (Kangaroo pumps); dysrhythmia interpretation required; remote MS/Tele, CAPD preferred Support Staff: monitor techs (read/interpret telemetry strips), phlebotomy, 1 2 CNAs per shift, sitters, charge nurses, and a rapid response team Floating: Required to float to other Med/Surg units as needed Ratio: 1:5 6* Ratios are subject to change based on facility needs and are not guaranteed
