Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $3,030 per week in Albuquerque, NM

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Must possess a valid nursing license (pending licenses accepted) Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Experience in MS/Tele and lower acuity settings - Ability to float to other units as needed - IV starts experience - Telemetry monitoring Description: Must work 2 out of 3 holiday bundles: Thanksgiving & the day after, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, New Year's Eve & New Year's Day. No specific certifications accepted. 36 or 48-hour contracts available. Floating is an expectation, including MS/Tele, PCU, and lower acuity settings. Travelers will float to ED with ratios of 1:5, occasional 1:6 based on acuity and resources. No local candidates accepted within a 100-mile radius. COVID vaccine is optional, but reporting of vaccine numbers is required. Weekend shifts required: 2 per 4-week schedule, may vary based on unit needs. Resource ratios on days and evenings are typically 1:5. All candidates must meet the minimum experience requirement. First-time travelers are accepted. Pre-approved time off is limited during contract term. Travelers need experience in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, telemetry, and IV maintenance. Travelers may float to other MS/Tele and PCU units based on facility needs. Modules completion for orientation is mandatory, with an emphasis on high acuity specialties. Failure of EKG testing may lead to dismissal after two attempts. Behavioral health and related positions require certification training during orientation week.
