Job Summary Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) RN position located in a hospital setting. This float pool role involves providing patient care across multiple units, including Medical, Surgical, and Cardiology, with a focus on acute care in a Level 1 Trauma environment. The position requires flexibility to float to different units and deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Job Details
Position Description: This is a float pool RN position. Candidate must be willing to float to multiple units within the hospital. Experience in an acute care hospital setting and Level 1 Trauma experience are required.
Required Qualifications: Valid RN License (State of Maine), minimum of 2 years inpatient hospital experience including Level 1 Trauma, 1-year travel or float pool experience, ACLS certification, BLS certification.
Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 48 hours per week.
Additional Information: This position involves floating to various Medical, Surgical, and Cardiology units within the hospital, with patient ratios typically around 1:4 on day shifts and 1:5 on nights, with some stretch potential. Candidates must have the ability to read and interpret telemetry strips. Prior float pool or travel experience preferred, and flexibility is essential for success in this role.
