Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a medical-surgical/telemetry unit.
This unit cares for patients ages 18 and older with various acute and chronic illnesses.
Patients may present with conditions such as sepsis, respiratory issues, gastrointestinal disorders, endocrine disorders, cardiac disease, and COVID-19.
Staff members will manage titratable drips, chest tubes, tracheostomies, complex wound care, and high oxygen delivery systems.
End-of-life care will also be a responsibility of the nursing staff.
The team-based care delivery model encourages collaboration among licensed and unlicensed healthcare professionals.
Team members include Lead Nurses, bedside Registered Nurses, Virtual Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Nursing Assistants.
This model enhances the quality of care by utilizing each team member’s strengths and skills.
Nurses will float as necessary to meet staffing needs across various units within the facility.
Floating may include potential assignments to other medical-surgical or telemetry units.
Weekend shifts are required: four weekend shifts out of eight possible in a four-week period.
Holiday requirements apply, and travelers must work a minimum number of major holidays.
This is a nicotine-free facility; all candidates must comply with this policy.
