Certifications: BLS required; ACLS strongly preferred
Must-Have:
- Epic charting experience required
- Ability to manage cardiac drips without titration
- Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
Description:
Holiday coverage needed.
All staff are required to work 2 of the 3 major holidays, which include Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.
Travelers are expected to float frequently to meet staffing needs.
Travelers will be assigned to a unit based on their experience.
There may be an opportunity to float to a nearby facility.
Units may include various medical-surgical and telemetry floors.
Care teams include care techs, transport teams, and paramedics.
This is a 100% nicotine-free facility.
Weekend shifts required: 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period.
Requests for time off are permitted, with specific parameters.
Travelers must work 2 out of 3 major holidays; this requirement should be included with the application.
Pending license accepted, however, it must be in hand before traveler starts.
Scrubs are mandatory and will be provided once confirmed.
Daily rate parking is available.
The facility is a 718 acute-care bed facility that provides care to complex patients.
It serves as a teaching hospital, benefiting patients from cutting-edge research and education.
Interdisciplinary support includes various teams, such as respiratory services and social services.
Patient demographics include adults and geriatrics.
Various drips are required for patient care, including Nitro, Heparin, and Insulin.
