Travelers may be assigned to Nebraska Medical Center’s sister campus, Bellevue Medical Center, which is 16 minutes away from the main campus. Please review the information below for additional information on each campus and the units they offer.

Certs REQ: BLS, ACLS

2 years of prior experience required (must have 2 years exp in large, urban hospital)
Drips are required on all floors
EPIC charting experience required

Will float within scope to meet facility needs (this includes potentially floating to Bellevue campus). Units may include, but are not limited to 4CS, 5 West, 6 Neuro, 4/5 Lied, 6/7 Lied, 7 HVU, 8 Werner, 9 Trauma, Bellevue MS, Observation, SOTU.

Weekends: 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in an 4-week period.

Scrubs: MANDATORY - RNs wear Steele gray scrubs with the Nebraska Medicine logo printed on the back. Information on how to obtain Nebraska Medicine branded scrubs will be shared once traveler is confirmed. Facility also sells gray T-shirts that can be worn in their company store.

Parking: Professionals can obtain a parking permit (cost depends on the lot, but is approx. $55/month) or they can use daily rate parking ($3 to park for 20 hrs).

Werner Progressive Care Unit (PCU - adult progressive surgical, oncology, palliative care and progressive acute care patients receiving chemotherapy)
