Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 10-bed rapid admission unit serving general medical and pre-surgical patients
• Manage a patient ratio of 5:1 in a fast-paced environment where patient census turns over at an accelerated pace compared to a standard Med/Surg unit
• Communicate clearly and effectively with interdisciplinary team members and patients throughout each shift
• Work independently to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs
• Maintain BLS and ACLS certifications as required for patient safety and unit compliance

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be verified through Nursys
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in a high-turnover admission environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience on a rapid admission or high-acuity Med/Surg unit
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Experience managing pre-surgical patient populations
