Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 10-bed rapid admission unit serving general medical and pre-surgical patients
• Manage a patient ratio of 5:1 in a fast-paced medical-surgical/telemetry environment
• Adapt to a high patient turnover rate, characteristic of a rapid admission unit model
• Communicate clearly and effectively with interdisciplinary team members and patients
• Work independently while maintaining safe, high-quality nursing care standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing
• Work history with no employment gaps greater than 60 days

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a rapid admission or high-acuity medical-surgical unit
• Demonstrated ability to manage high patient turnover efficiently
• Strong independent clinical decision-making skills
