    TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Boston, Massachusetts, 02118!

    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

    Location

    Boston, MA

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts | 36 Hours per Week | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in an acute Medical Surgical Telemetry unit with a 36-bed capacity
    • Independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips
    • Maintain patient ratios of generally 1:4 or 1:5
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective communication and continuity of care
    • Uphold a strong commitment to patient safety and an exceptional patient experience
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in Medical Surgical nursing
    • Strong telemetry skills with the ability to independently read and interpret rhythm strips
    • Must pass a telemetry competency test on Day 1 with a score of 85% or better
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Travel nursing experience required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
    • Prior travel nursing assignments highly preferred
