Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit with a 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Work a night shift schedule with every other weekend and rotating holidays; no on-call requirement
• Float to other units as needed based on facility requirements
• Actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education alongside the provision of direct patient care
• Complete orientation modules electronically; general orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical experience; Telemetry experience required
• AHA BLS certification required — AHA is the only accepted form; all other certifications will not meet compliance requirements
• Must complete Relias EKG testing within 72 hours of signing; two attempts allowed — failure of both results in automatic cancellation
• Must commit to completing a drug test within 12–14 calendar days prior to start date
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility's service area to be eligible — no local candidates accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Experience with clinical education or nursing student preceptorship is a plus
• Ability to adapt to floating assignments across multiple units
