Contract | 36 Hours per Week | 12-Hour Night Shifts | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday | Most Fridays Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across multiple Medical Surgical and Telemetry units as part of a float pool
• Independently read and interpret telemetry strips in real time
• Adapt quickly to the workflows, patient populations, and protocols of up to five different units
• Administer and monitor intravenous therapies in accordance with unit standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
• Proficiency with Meditech and EPIC electronic health record systems
• Ability to independently read telemetry strips and pass an on-site competency exam on Day 1 with a score of 84% or higher (two attempts permitted)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3–5 years of experience in a float pool or multi-unit setting
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to five or more Medical Surgical and Telemetry units
