Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays as Needed | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient nursing care to a diverse patient population with multiple co-morbidities, with a specialized focus on stroke and neurological patients
• Manage and monitor telemetry, including remote monitoring, and respond appropriately to cardiac rhythm changes
• Perform and maintain central line care and management, PICC line management, port access, peripheral IV insertion and care, and blood product administration
• Provide feeding tube care and management, wound care, wound vac management, and enforce isolation precautions
• Administer care involving nasal cannula oxygen delivery and CVA patient protocols
• Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5–1:6 and float to other facility campuses as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BLS and NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Telemetry experience with remote monitoring required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (two attempts permitted); required of all RNs regardless of specialty

Preferred Experience / Skills

• On-unit telemetry monitoring experience preferred
• Experience working with stroke or neurological patient populations preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
