Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic electronic health records
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Participate in holiday rotation, working at minimum every other holiday as required
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
Active permanent Ohio RN license or active compact state license in hand at time of submission
Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
Active AHA or American Red Cross ACLS certification required
NIH Stroke Scale certification must be obtained prior to start date
Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system required
Preferred Experience / Skills
18 months of specialty experience completed within a single location
Demonstrated ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments
One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment within the past 12 months
