Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during overnight shifts
- Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver quality patient outcomes
- Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
- Active permanent Ohio RN license or Compact state license in hand at time of submission
- Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification (no pending expirations)
- Active AHA or American Red Cross ACLS certification (no pending expirations)
- Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start
- Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (two attempts maximum)
Preferred Experience / Skills- 18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience within a single facility location
- Prior experience working in a large health system environment
