Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting
Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation throughout each shift
Complete required annual hands-on competencies and facility-assigned training modules
Required Qualifications
Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license – permanent Ohio license or valid Compact license required and must be in hand at time of submission
Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing
All required certifications must be active and in hand at time of submission – no pending certifications accepted
One professional reference required from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director within the applicable specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
Must have no open licensing actions or background check concerns
Must be available to complete BCI/FBI fingerprinting within 48 hours of contract signing
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience gained within a single facility or location within the Medical Surgical / Telemetry specialty
Prior travel nursing experience with familiarity of travel compliance requirements
Demonstrated proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition
