Contract | Rotating Day/Night Shifts (3x12-Hour Shifts) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit, with potential to float to other units serving the same patient population
- Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety evaluations
- Rotate holiday coverage as required, working at minimum every other holiday
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – permanent Ohio license or compact state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry specialty
- Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience (travel experience accepted)
- Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
- Active ACLS certification required
- Active NIHSS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience obtained within a single facility location
- Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry setting
