Contract (13–26 week options) | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Long Term Acute Care (LTACH) Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and manage patients requiring telemetry and neurological observation
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule after 5:00 PM daily and on weekends (shared among 6–8 staff members)
• Float to other units and/or campuses as needed based on census, within demonstrated competency areas
• Complete all required pre-assignment modules and annual compliance requirements within designated timeframes
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent EPIC EMR experience
• Neurological nursing experience required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the contracted campus to be eligible (night shift, Adult Medical Tele / Adult Cardiac Tele / Progressive Care specialty rule applies)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Long Term Acute Care (LTACH) setting strongly preferred
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and progressive care patient populations
• Experience floating across multiple units or care settings
