Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry
LocationColumbia, SC
Schedule / Job TypeContract (13 or 26 week options available) | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | 36 Hours per Week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting with application of strong MS/Tele and Neuro skills
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and neurological assessments as part of ongoing patient evaluation
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with established clinical protocols
- Float to other units and campuses as needed based on census demands, performing only tasks within documented competencies
- Complete all required pre-assignment modules and compliance training within 48 hours of receiving login credentials
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry or Neuro unit
- Minimum 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR
- Strong Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Neuro clinical skills
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a high-acuity or progressive care environment
- Familiarity with travel nursing compliance requirements and pre-assignment onboarding processes
