Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical / Telemetry
Location
Concord, Massachusetts
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 3x12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week | Every other weekend and every other holiday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions in accordance with care plans
- Document patient assessments and care accurately using Meditech electronic health records
- Float to similar units as needed to support staffing requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Current BLS certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association accepted)
- Minimum of 3 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing experience
- Telemetry experience required
- Meditech experience required
- Travel nursing experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience floating to similar inpatient units
- Familiarity with telemetry competency assessments administered during orientation
