Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | 13 Weeks | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with up to 42 beds
- Manage patient assignments at ratios of up to 1:6 or 1:7
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data and respond to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams within a large, high-acuity healthcare facility
- Complete required pre-start modules prior to assignment begin date
Required Qualifications- Active Alabama RN license required at time of submission (pending AL license will be considered)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Previous experience working in large healthcare facilities
- Permanent address must be located at least 90 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be accepted
- Previous travel nursing experience required (highly experienced candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis)
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a Level 2 Trauma center or similarly sized acute care environment
- Familiarity with high-volume telemetry monitoring and documentation
