Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit during night shift hours
Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to cardiac changes
Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic electronic health records
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Participate in required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations
Adhere to facility policies including holiday rotation requirements, working at least every other holiday
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse license – must hold a permanent Ohio license or a compact state license in hand at time of submission
Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
Active AHA or American Red Cross ACLS certification required
Epic charting experience within the last 6 months required
One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment within the past 12 months (Charge RN references accepted)
Preferred Experience / Skills
18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience within a single location
Familiarity with ECG rhythm recognition assessments and medication safety evaluations
