Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care for assigned patients on a per-shift basis
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data to identify and respond to changes in patient condition
- Supervise and delegate appropriate care to supporting clinical staff
- Ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care is delivered at the unit level
- Support nursing leadership in maintaining clinical staff competency and appropriate resource management
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Experience in Telemetry or Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing
- Ability to assess and manage patients requiring cardiac monitoring
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and delegate to clinical staff
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a telemetry or step-down unit setting
- Familiarity with quality and safety standards in an acute care environment
